The names of Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, and of Dr. Isakhan Isakhanli, Vice-Rector for Administration and Student Affairs were included in the list of the prominent professional translators, scholars and literary figures involved in translation activity in the first Translation Encyclopedia of Azerbaijan published by Azerbaijan University of Languages with Kamal Abdulla as an editor-in-chief and Alish Mirzalli as an editor. Selected works by Anna Akhmatova (collection of poems), Baratinsky, Zhukovsky, Gumilyov, Yesenin, Tyutchev, Afanasy Fet from Russian literature; Byron, Herricks, William Blake from English literature translated by Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, and of Block, Bunin, Lermontov, Pushkin, Tolstoy and Yesenin translated by Dr. Isakhan Isakhanli were listed in the encyclopedia.
