On June 8th, 2017, QS World University Rankings published rating of world universities for the year of 2017. 

According to the rating list, overall rank of Khazar University  is 701-750 among world universities and it takes the 1st place among the universities in Azerbaijan. 

It should be noted that ‘QS’ organisation conducted research among operating 26,000 universities all over the globe.  Khazar University has been selected  one of the top 2.7% universites in the world.

‘QS’ organisation evaluates the world universities based on 6 main criteria: academic reputation,

citation of scientific articles, reputation among employers, teacher-student ratio, the number of international teachers and students.

Overall, among the world universities,  Khazar University takes 388th place according to admission of international students,  339th place according to teacher-student ratio and  253rd place according to the number of foreign lecturers working at the university.
