The national costumes of Azerbaijan, the peoples of the Caucasus and

others nationalities are gathered in this center. The students make all these

costumes themselves at the “Sewing Circle for National Costumes." Students

enrolled in the “sewing group” may earn credit in the subject of

Azerbaijani Culture. Well-known specialists in national costume design

teach here. The national clothing made, collected and maintained by this

team allows the young men and women of the Khazar University Dance Ensembles to

perform various nations' traditional dances more vividly and naturally.
