Public Television Tapes Concert at Khazar
On Tuesday, February 21st, Public Television came to Khazar University to film a concert featuring talented university students. The concert took place in the Marble Hall. It included several choir performances led by Head of the Department of Music and Fine Arts, Zulfiyya Sadigova; several dance numbers by the girls’ dance ensemble; solo piano and guitar performances; recitation of poetry that had been written by students and by Professor Hamlet Isaxanli; and a dramatic skit.
The camera crew from Public Television will come to Khazar one more time within the next week to film individual interviews with several students. After the final program is edited, it will be broadcast on national TV as part of the Students’ Word (Telebe Sozu) series.
