Ceremony to Commemorate Ziya Bunyadov
On February 20th, Khazar University students studying history in the School of Education held a memorial ceremony at the university on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the death of historian and scholar of Eastern Studies, Soviet Union Hero, National Award Winner, honored scientist and academic Ziya Bunyadov. Students spoke about the academic and public activity of the scientist at the ceremony.
Vice President for International Relations of the University Farda Asadov and Head of the Department of History and Archaeology Roza Arazova shared memories about Ziya Bunyadov and answered the students’ questions related to his life and activities. A film about the great scientist and public figure was shown at the end.
