Seminar on “Basic Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Knowledge Academy for State Employee Leaders”
On February 6-7, a seminar on “Basic Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Knowledge Academy for State Employee Leaders” was held at Qafqaz University. Representatives of relevant institutions and educational workers participated in the event organized by The Civil Service Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, United Nations Development Programme, United Nations’ Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development located in the Republic of Korea, and Qafqaz University. Khazar University was represented by the Head of the Department of Computer Sciences Dr. Leyla Muradkhanly in the seminar.
The purpose of the seminar was to improve the e-government civil service system by teaching ICT knowledge and skills to employees holding leadership posts in government and representatives of government agencies who will train their colleagues.
The seminar consisted of modules such as "Relations between ICT and comprehensive development,” “The application of e-government,” and “ICT development trends for state employees holding leadership posts.”
