20th Anniversary of “Era” Educational Enterprises (“Çağ” Öyrətim İşlətmələri)
President of Qafqaz University Professor Ahmet Sanich sent a letter to President of Khazar University Professor John Ryder on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the opening of “Era” Educational Enterprises (“Çağ” Öyrətim İşlətmələri), founded by Turkish philanthropist/educators and businessmen in 1992 in Azerbaijan. In the letter, he announced that a special issue (May-June 2012) of “Qafqaz Journal," a scientific publication of Qafqaz University, will be published. He invited the faculty of Khazar University to submit articles to the special issue of the journal. Articles can be written in Azerbaijani, Turkish, English or Russian. The deadline for articles is April 4th, 2012.
This special issue of the journal will be printed in high quantities and will be sent to many universities and libraries around the world, especially those in Azerbaijan and Turkey.

- Azerbaijan is my Second Homeland Student Festival On May 25th at 15:00, the “Azerbaijan is My Second Homeland” Student Festival organized by Public Television will take place at Khazar University’s World Concert Hall (122 Bashir Safaroghlu St.). During the festival, foreign students currently studying in several universities in Baku will perform songs, dances and poems dedicated to Azerbaijan. Entrance is free and everyone is welcome.

The lecturer will be Dr. Michael Rubin (American Enterprise Institute, USA). Anyone wishing to attend is welcome.
