Exhibition “Novruz is the First Day of Spring” will be held on March 14-20, 2007 in the Humanities and Social Sciences Reading Hall (#108, 1st Floor).

The display will be dedicated to the history, roots and rich traditions of the Holiday of Novruz. The word "Novruz" is coming from two words "nov", which means "new" and "ruz", means "blessings or abundance".

This is the most ancient and cherished holiday in Azerbaijan celebrated across the country -- from a small village to a big city.

On November 30, 2006 Khazar University Library Information Center (LIC) organized presentation on "Japan Foundation Collection."

I hope that readers will receive necessary and helpful information about the history, culture and modern life of Japan."

These books meet an ever-increasing demand of the Khazar University Community.

The OSCE Office in Baku possesses a broad mandate, which covers major areas of concern in all OSCE dimensions including the human, political, economic and environmental aspects of security and stability.

These donated books (71 copies) are mainly devoted such problems as implementation of the commitments undertaken by Azerbaijan after its accession into the Council of Europe; carrying-out of legislative reforms in the fields of elections, mass media, civil society, gender and youth issues, etc.
