On February 13, 2007 Science and Arts Club of Khazar University conducted its sixth seminar on the topic ‘Turkic World today: Turkic ethnic minorities”. Khazar University’s President Prof. Hamlet Isaxanli greeted the guest from different educational organizations and gave a brief information on historical background of Turkic people, their roots, locations of residence and welfare. Then Professor Hamlet Isaxanli gave the floor to the main reporter, Doctor of History Gullu Yologlu, who delivered a lecture on Turkic people’s customs and traditions and their everyday life. Later discussions were held on the topic.
