Science and Art Club of Khazar University conducted its regular seminar on the topic “Translation Activities in the Middle Ages. Translations of the Koran” on November 22, 2006. Khazar Uuniversity’s Rector Prof. Hamlet Isaxanli opened the seminar and gave brief information of translation centers acting in the middle ages, translators and translated works. The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan Mr. Afshar Suleymani greeted seminar participants. Then Mirza Rasul Ismayilzade gave a detailed talk on translations of the Koran.
