Scientific and Administrative Council had its next in turn meeting on November 14, 2006. Dean of Law School Prof. Jabir Khalilov and Deputy Dean of the School of Medicine, Stomotology and Public Health Rauf Shahbazov informed participants of their visit to the USA. Vice-Rector Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev had a speech on the current teaching situation and Chair of English Department Eldar Shahgeldiyev – on the new programs of preparation and language-taeching at different levels. Some current questions were also discussed.
