On December 6, 2006, a Memorandum of Understanding between Farabi Institute of Higher Education ( Iran) and Khazar University was signed. The primary purpose of the Memorandum is to promote collaboration between the two parties, to establish a clear and accepted boundary for the joint educational and research academic programs in the local and distant (virtual) education platform, and development of Iranian and Azerbaijani students at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
