On December 11, 2006 a meeting of the Advisory Board of Khazar University’s School of Architecture, Engineering and Applied Science was held. Prof. Hamlet Isaxanli, President of Khazar University, Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice-President, Dr. Rafig Ahmedov, Dean of the School of Architecture, Engineering and Applied Science and Prof. Arif Mamedzade, Chair of the Department of Petroleum Engineering as well as other members of Advisory Board – Don White, Drilling & Completions L&D, BP Alchin Shirinzade, Deputy Director, SOCAR, Research and Project Institute of Oil Industry, and Thor Viggo Aarrestad, Project Manager, STATOIL participated in the meeting. Scholarship programs, collaboration and other issues were discussed and Mr. Don White was elected Chair of Advisory Board.
