A
traditional Meclis (Assembly) of Science and Art was chaired
on June 10th by the President and Founder of
Khazar University Hamlet Isaxanli.
Speaking about “History of information development, Internet
age and Azerbaijani Science, Education, and Culture in the
electronic world’, professor Hamlet Isaxanli comprehensively
clarified some key points of history and effective ways of
disseminating Azerbaijani science, education, music and
literature, their virtual development and some methods of
technology useful for the purpose. Following this, guest
speakers Tariyel Mammadov, Doctor of Art Studies, expert in
the field of musicology and Mr. Aydinkhan Abilov, a writer
and expert on culture studies made their presentations .
Tariyel
Mammadov’s presentation was devoted to the collection,
research and creation of Azerbaijani music web-site,
embracing different genres of Azerbaijani composers’ music
and their history.
Aydinkhan
Abilov spoke about the theme - “Azerbaijan and the world’s
literature in the virtual world”.
