A
Consultation meeting of the School of Engineering,
Architecture, and Applied Sciences was held at the BP Oil
Company Office. The Participants were representatives of the
BP and Statoil Companies, President of Khazar University
professor Hamlet Isaxanli, Vice-president Mohammad Nuriev,
Dean of the School of Engineering, Architecture, and Applied
Sciences Rafiq Ahmadov, the Department Head of Petroleum
Engineering Arif Mammadzadeh. The parties discussed the
questions of establishing the major laboratories on the
specialty of Petroleum Engineering, such as Petroleum
Engineering Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics, and as well
as the issue of their further supply with the modern
equipment facilities. In connection with this Khazar
University made its own proposals.
