Mahammad N. Nuriyev became Vice-Chancellor of Khazar
University and Dean of theSchool of Economics and Management in 1998.
His research interest covers various aspects of economic development analysis and production systems management.

He successfully combines administrative activities with lecturing for MBA and doctoral students. The main lecturing subjects are Business Research Methods, Strategic Management, Operations/Production Management and Managerial Economics

M. N. Nuriyev received his Doctor of Sciences degree from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. Before coming to Khazar University, he was Professor of Management Information Systems at
Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.
